We lost a whole tree worth of not fully ripe peaches to a squirrel. And I mean they cleaned it out. So, we were forced to shake our trees today. I got 3 huge baskets of semi yellow, pale greenish yellow and some still light whiteish green peaches. I only hope we can get some of them to ripen. Better get some than to get none. I still have one tree filled with what looks like nectarines which are immature. I did not shake that tree. Squirrels are out in full force. A whole tree’s worth of fruit gone in about a day. Not happening again on my watch!
